Our efforts are designed for long-term impact, and to encourage behavioral change.
GIVO Africa combines technology, zero-waste recycling, and inclusive economic models to address the twin challenges of mounting waste and limited economic opportunity. By transforming discarded materials into value, we create cleaner cities, empower livelihoods, and move communities toward a truly circular future.
At GIVO, we’re ambitious. We want to end plastic pollution while building wealth for the underserved communities.
Our solution is simple, yet impactful: build zero carbon recycling centers in communities across the continent. These centers create jobs for local community members, and encourage behavioural change through incentivised recycling and responsible waste practices.
We are also big on data: we believe that to truly end waste, understanding where they come from and how they travel is important, so GIVO’s practices are powered by cloud-based technology that records the waste and recycling behaviours.
Creating Africa’s largest network of sustainable waste solutions, where no waste goes to waste, transforming every point from home to industry into an opportunity for circularity and community prosperity.
