GIVO Centers are off-grid, tech-enabled, zero-emission waste management hubs that actively engage local communities. Each center aggregates, identifies, and processes recyclables, preventing up to 90 metric tons of waste from reaching landfills and avoiding 2,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually. Strategically located within 5 km of the communities they serve, the centers ensure continuity while enabling zero-emission, door-to-door collections. Each center employs up to 15 full-time local residents, primarily women and youths, and indirectly supports up to 50 people monthly. We currently operate seven GIVO Centers across key communities in Nigeria and Liberia.
